I think Wayne County came from behind to beat West Jessamine at West Jessamine.

This is the first draw that I have been to. I agree that the Mercer/Southwestern will be the best first round game. Didn't Mercer win the previous by 3?

Can't stress enough how adjusting to the 13th Region refs will be key.

There are probably 5-6 teams who could legitimately win this tournament. Should be one of the most competitive tournaments in the state.

Lincoln County lost one game at home all year. The only 12th Region team to defeat Lincoln County this year was Boyle County. Lincoln County has defeated everyone they have played that is in the 12th Region tournament. Lincoln County is the easy favorite to advance to Rupp Arena.

There definitely could be an upset or two or even three but Mercer and Southwestern is a tough game for both teams. Winner gets Lincoln on their home court next. Win that game and you likely have Wayne or Boyle waiting on you. That's asking a lot. The only way I see Mercer or Southwestern winning the region is if West Jessamine or Pulaski County pulls off the upsets to shake the upper bracket up.

 

A lot has to happen to have Southwestern or Mercer County at Rupp Arena.

I think that is spot on. Personally I might put SW a little ahead of Mercer and West Jess but that is just splitting hairs.

 

As was already mentioned, Lincoln having this at home is a big advantage. I also think it's a big help to their chances that they'll have to beat at most 1 of Boyle/Wayne.

No good for me. Mondays and Wednesdays are bad for me, was really hoping to be able to make it to the semis with as deep as this region is. So then are the finals 3/10?
