The 45th was very fortunate. One would also think Wayne got a favorable draw but let's not forget how much trouble they had with West a couple of weeks ago.

 

As for Southwest and Mercer, that should be a good one - and a game that could very well be a preview of next year's regional championship game. Winner gets Lincoln. In my opinion, that may be a more favorable matchup for either team than they would've had on the other side of the bracket.

What's the reputation of the 13th region refs? It sounds negative in this thread, but is that just people don't like their style/tendancies, or just not good.

Lincoln County lost one game at home all year. The only 12th Region team to defeat Lincoln County this year was Boyle County. Lincoln County has defeated everyone they have played that is in the 12th Region tournament. Lincoln County is the easy favorite to advance to Rupp Arena.

 

Lincoln played Wayne early in the season. Tables will probably turn this round.:banana:

That wouldn't surprise me. I'm simply pointing out that this Lincoln County team defends their home turf very very well against the 12th Region this year. Everyone who plays them better bring their A game all 4 quarters.

I felt like they called more fouls when I was at games I was at and they called more fouls on us. We never truly got used to them at all. We played 3 games with 13th Region refs. At the time I thought it was some of the worst refereeing I had seen. Then the 12th Region games started........:lol2:

13th region refs are almost as bad as the 12th region..almost!!!! Especially that one red who wants to stand out and wants everybody to notice him and is more worried about who is in the stands then who is playing on the court. Things are going to get,very interesting

Lincoln will not beat Wayne again in my opinion. Last game was early in the year. Wayne is not the Wayne from that date. Ask SW.

I think Wayne will be able to adjust to the officials. They have played and battled all season out of region.

If the 13th Region officials let the play get rough like they tend to do, i do not see Lincoln Co. beating Southwestern. I think if Wayne Co. gets by West Jessamine, which they should Boyle Co will be a much tougher game to win than Lincoln. It is a shame that only one of these top 5 teams will be able to get to the State Tour. Maybe the only other region to have as hard a road to go is the 11th, which our region will have to play.
