As I and others have been saying for awhile, Putin is VERY DANGEROUS! He will not stop until someone stands up to him!

In very surprised that no thread has been started about the Keystone pipeline events this week. People want to complain about stuff like the Internet stuff, but Keystone is a bit more serious. Why? Follow the money! If you follow the money that is being funneled into the campaign against it will lead right to the front door of the Kremlin.

I want to say that the Russians will come out in force at the opposition rally tomorrow. Many of the first people to lay flowers at the site of his death had their faces covered, they knew. Russians are not known to have small protest, but will them knowing the truth scare then or tick them off?

As screwed up as the USA is (and it is), I thank God every day that I was born here and not in Russia, the Ukraine, or any of the Middle Eastern countries...or pretty much any other country in the world.

So very true. I am so grateful and I try to explain to my kids how fortunate they are.

Supposedly there are at least 50,000 people marching so far in Moscow, and at least one other march in Saint Petersburg. The original rally was supposed to be held at a far end of Moscow. After the shooting the organizers decided to change the theme. It was supposed to be a rally, it's now a march, and they wanted to march to the site of the killing. But, the mayor of Moscow, who was handpicked by Putin, said that they can't march near the center of the city. Well, they are marching towards there anyway.

Will be interesting to see what happens when they get there. Lines of police in riot gear blocking access to the bridge near the Kremlin where Nemtsov was killed.
