Jon Jones will be back as the head coach at Gallatin County. He will be the principal and head coach.

Is that confirmed? I know the Superintendent wanted him back, but when we talked during the All "A", he said the decision would be made after the season. I hope it is, he's done great things with the guys at Gallatin.

Yes, it was open last year.

 

A couple assistants were let go mid season. I think they have one assistant left, but I don't know how much experience he has.

I'd say that until schools know who is coming back and who isn't we won't see as many jobs posted. Schools should know their staffing allocations for next year however.

That's interesting. That coach hasn't been there long has he? Male and Butler both open. I wonder who's the top choices for those jobs.

Two years, but the departing coach was an assistant before that. Sometimes the assistant being promoted seems to be the safe choice in lieu of taking an outside look but safe is not always best. There were quire a few transfers, many that were very good players that didn't help.
