February 25, 201511 yr Author Is there anyone you haven't wanted to sign? I want the Steelers to sign Reggie Bush.
February 26, 201511 yr Packers fans are not sad to see him go. They will draft an MLB in the first two rounds and we're done with Hawk from what I gathered from multiple cheese heads.
February 26, 201511 yr I'm shocked by this move. Should the Bengals sign him? No way am I shocked. He has been a below par LB for the last 2-3 years, if not his whole career. He wasn't a starter this year. I harbor no animosity toward him but he is just not good enough to play that position for Green Bay. This will improve the team.
February 26, 201511 yr Evidently he has some injury things, also. Not sure what, but read something about it on twitter.

February 26, 201511 yr Hawk is not a good player...but as of now Manny Lemur is a starter...so I don't really know.
February 26, 201511 yr I think they keep Matthews in the middle and give Perry another shot opposite Peppers. Barrington played great.
March 7, 201511 yr I know this is in the other thread but thought it needed to be here too: Bengals plan visit with A.J. Hawk for next week | ProFootballTalk ============================ Definitely says the Bengals are not sure Tez is going to return healthy and the Bengals think LB is a position of need. Considering they just resigned Rey and tendered Lamur at 2.35 million I don't think you can paint it any other way than the Bengals know they need more help at LB.
March 7, 201511 yr He would be a good pickup for depth reasons. However many OSU fans who want him to be a Bengal need to realize he is not and actually has never been the player they remember him from his college days. For where he was picked he has underachieved, he has not been a bust but not as good as expected. He has had a solid average career and is now older and coming back from an injury. So while it would be good to add him for experience, I don't think to much should be expected in terms of making things much better. Vontez is the guy that will determine how good the LB's are next year.
March 7, 201511 yr The fan in me would like to see it but I agree with you fc, this is a depth signing if we do sign him.
