Absolutely correct. And I'm not trying to excuse what she said or did in any way. I'm simply stating I can buy the "I didn't know what it meant line" because I have no clue to that either, but she still needs to be held accountable for it. I wouldn't necessarily ruin her career over it, but I think a suspension of some sort is probably sufficient.

I guess so. I just wonder what progress is going to sound like 30 years from now. You all will have to excuse me when I hear words that I know for a fact are racial slurs and their only intent and purpose is to be a racial slur are now excused. It takes some getting used to I guess. This thing we call progress.
