Clown Show wants McCown now

Featured Replies

According to Adam Schefter and Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, McCown has taken a trip to Buffalo, with the goal of working out a contract on Monday. It’s a smart move by the Bills, since it would tie up McCown before 32 teams and most agents descend on Indianapolis for the Scouting Combine.

Speaking of the rest of the class, the Bills’ interest in McCown jumbles their potential pursuit of Mark Sanchez. The impending free agent played for the Jets for five years under new Buffalo coach Rex Ryan, and many assumed Ryan would try to woo Sanchez to western New York.

Maybe Rex will still do that, with Sanchez and McCown leading the depth chart — and 2013 first-rounder EJ Manuel being put on the trading block.

They'll have a top5 defense, and if they have a solid run game, they need a manager under center. Win games ugly. I'd take McCown over the other 2.

As long as Manuel isn't wooed by the Browns, I'm good with theguru's post.

McCown != game manager.

I don't think Rex has many better options that McCown at this point.

I'd trade him Dalton for a snow shovel and an order of Buffalo Chicken Wings . . .
