I'd like to see Holmes really get after it on Defense & Beetle get hot (not just 3's), then see what happens.

If they do neither, NCC wins game handily, which is my bet.

One of the most fun games I have watched in recent years was two years ago when NCC and Holmes battled in Covington. The show that Beetle put on in the 4th qtr was crazy! Crowd was on fire as well.

I will most likely miss this one too. No credentials to shoot an event at the BOK. Good luck to all, it sounds like fun.

I am afraid this will be ugly for the Bulldogs. The only hope I have is that the 'breds still have their mental block in big games there.

Could be.

They will struggle to defend McDonald/Weyer. They can match up with one with Avery, but not both. Arnold has the strength to defend McDonald but lack of size will allow Drew to shoot over top of him inside. Wondering if Coach L will use Avery and Moore together? They rarely see the floor at the same time but could atleast give Holmes more size inside to help with rebounding.

Holmes will need Bolden/McClendon to play well to keep it close...and obviously have to defend better than what I saw in the Boone game or Newcath wins by 20+.

I do believe it has been a few days of intense practices for the 'dogs. The only way I see them winning is IF:

1) Bolden is unconscious (possible)

2) Avery stays out of foul trouble (not likely)

3) Pangano gets in foul trouble (doubtful)

4) NCC for gets to dump it down low to the bigs (they have done that sometimes)

Way too many IF's for me.

I would suggest the Wrestling regionals at Cooper. (Hey…I like looking at the pictures you take)

Any radio broadcast?

The CovCath/Dixie game will be broadcast here:

Covington Catholic High School

The game is at 6:30, and not 7:30 like it is presently listed at the link.

I've not heard anything about the Holmes/NewCath game being on the air.
