I am now seriously considering ending it all.

I feel compelled to ask.

Did you "like" my post because it amused you? Or did you "like" my post because you think I'm serious?

Amusement I actually chuckled upon reading this I could just see the sarcasam oozing from that post. :lol2:

While she is the one that took the shot, I agree it is immaterial to the loss.

It is a legit question about the transfer. Had I known it, I would have asked the question already, regardless of who they played. Of course considering she has been at a "few" different schools adds to the makes it an even more legit question.

OK to answer some questions. First there is no transfer rule for 6 or 8 graders. That goes into effect in the 9th grade. Now how did they end up in Winchester. Dad was a teacher's aid in Bath Co, he just got hired on at Toyota which is a substantial salary increase for the family. You cannot blame a man that is trying to make a better life for his family. They didn't want to live in Lexington as they thought it was too big. They felt that Winchester would fit their family as they want to make this their home. I hope this clears up your questions and concerns.

She played for Bath Co. On Saturday, Januaryed for Clark on the next Friday and Saturday. I believe KHSAA is governing the grade schools now and even if she transfers she has to get approval from

KHSAA to play, correct? Shocker that they would want to live where the reigning 10th region champs are rather than Georgetown. Don't you find it a little funny that she transferred after Class A State? Has she gone to school yet? Something rotten in Denmark or Winchester!

Transfers rule apply to 8th graders if they play varsity, correct? I thought they changed that a few years ago.

Is this what the Coach told you to say???

Flowers appears on the Bath Co. roster on KHSAA and not on Clark's. Why have stats not be posted for Clark's last two games? Every other game has stats. Games without Flowers.

Im all for a man bettering his family but seems like there are several things a miss here in this ordeal. I guess it's just sheer luck or good fortune that all this takes place right after the state all a and just before district tournament. If I'm the parents of kids that have been on GRC team all season I'm screaming foul. If I'm bath co I'm screaming foul. I guess after a formal investigation which I hope happens all this gets straightened out. Refer to the whole DJ Jenkins saga and see how that turned out. Not exactly the same situation but has a lot of similarities. I guess we shall see.

There are some great honest questions being asked here (and a couple of stupid ones) but I am left asking this question (Not having talked to anyone at the school yet).

Coach Graham has been around the high school scene for quite a while and knows the rules. Do we honestly, HONESTLY believe that he would bring a player in that would result in potential losses tacked on to his program during the season AND potentially jeopardizing another strong shot to get back to the Sweet 16? Highly doubtful.

Already this is a lose-lose situation for GRC. When things are shown that it was a good transfer, everyone will scream that they loaded up (damn well knowing that other "tradition" programs would trade every light bulb in their town for the same chance). Or if it is the other way - ha ha. Doom on you GRC.

Let's see how it all turns out and who is standing left at the end.

How many schools does this make the kid played for and still just 8th grade?

I completely get what you are saying I have nothing but respect for Coach Grahm. He is a stand up guy and I would hate to think he would do a thing outside the rule book.

In this situation it just all seems to weird or too good to be true. There are definitly some underlying issues with all this and I'm confident it will all come out eventually. I just hope for the integrity of the game that all is legit.

By no means am I comparing GRC to Scott Co. Please don't think I'm saying that. I guess it's all in the timing of all this that has amplified the matter. Not to say that people would not have taken issue earlier in the season but now it's just a little more emphasized on.
