Does anyone have video of the questionable call? I talked to two different people who have NO affiliation with with either program and they say there was contact that warranted a foul (for which shots would have been awarded).

For the other question of the transfer, as much as people would like to make something of it. You are barking up the wrong tree and grabbing for excuses on a close loss.

If they are complaining about this they should have been at the boys GRC vs MoCo game. Go the length of the floor, ball is deflected, player gets ball and shoots all in 1.1 seconds. This keeps the game from going to OT and MoCo wins. You don't see alot about this from the GRC fans. It is a regular game. Really means nothing. It is post season that counts.

I assume the 3 officials got together to see who had what and when, correct?

No. The offocial that made the call went to the other two help up three fingers and pointed to the free throw line no discussion just basically telling them what he saw and free throws were to be shot. Meeting lasted approx 20 sec.

Bet that does not say anything about the terrible call at the end.

Talk all that crap you want too Goldie about regular game and how it means nothing. Maybe to the all mighty GRC players and fans it does not mean anything but to Our girls it did they really wanted this one and had a chance to win this on in OT. One Ref made it about him who I may add consistently made bad calls through out the game both ways. No game should end that way. EVER.

There was a lot worse contact let go under the basket on numerous plays!

You should really look in the mirror before you start with the rock throwing. I really thought you were better than that.

If you have a video of the last play, put it up and let BGP make the call.

For what it's worth, PB98 had the best seat in the house for the play in question.

You think our boys didn't really want that one either? Our game should have went to OT too, but it didn't. Refs ran off the floor after the call that the basket was good. I saw our players after the game and know how devastated they were, but in the great scheme of things it was just a regular season game. Your girls can learn alot from this game, which will help them in the post season, when it really matters.

Where on here has the correlation between the transfer and the loss been made, until you just made it. Even if GRC won by 30 points, a player playing at one school last week and another this week is ridiculous.

There is no correlation because it's immaterial. But I called the dancing around the question out in the public, you don't like it by pass it and roll along.

While she is the one that took the shot, I agree it is immaterial to the loss.

It is a legit question about the transfer. Had I known it, I would have asked the question already, regardless of who they played. Of course considering she has been at a "few" different schools adds to the makes it an even more legit question.

Not rock throwing. Just wearin my pride on my sleeve once again. It's not every yr an all a school gets an oppertunity to get a huge win over a school the size of a GRC. And to have a ref decide the outcome make himself bigger than the game your damn right I'm a little bitter. I wish I had a video of the final play but I don't have access to game film. I never once took anything away from the Lady Cards and I won't. They played a very good ballgame as well. I just think that the bigger schools sometimes don't place as much emphasis on a game like this one as a small school like ours does.

To your point Goldie I'm not doubting one bit the boys were devistated and really wanted that game but while the situations are similar they at the same time are very different. The refs didn't decide the game it was a last second shot that was a 50-50 chance.

Now I've always said if it's a foul in the first quarter it's a foul in the fourth. But with all the no calls that happened all game long why call that at that time. Like I said on the broadcast it wad a travesty in Brooksville. Let the game go into OT and if we lose so be it. Just let the kids decide it. What's so wrong with that

My apologies to all the GRC fans in no way did I mean ill-will with my previous comment. Can't help my Polar Bear and Lady Bear pride and if I feel we were on the short end of a screw job bet your "donkey" I will tell it like I saw it. :thumb:

So they did get together. Good. The official that makes the call gets final say. The other two tell them what they saw/heard. If it's a judgement call and that official is adamant then the call isn't going to get changed despite what the other two report to him/her.
