Intersting night in the 12th. Mercer loses to EJ, Wayne smacks PSW and Boyle pummels Lincoln. Its starting to feel, taste and smell like tourney time.

In the game at Lincoln, Bell shot considerably more than Tyler. In last night's game, Taylor had more FG attempts than Conway. Granted, Bell is a more capable scorer than Taylor, but both teams are much better when their primary scorers are getting the touches and leading their team in scoring. I also saw where Bell had 6 assists last night.

 

Saw some highlights on Channel 18. Tyler appeared to be in a zone, hitting from deep. They interviewed him and he was humble and classy, as usual. That's why I like that kid so much. It's rare that the best players are also the good guys but he's both. That will serve him well long after his playing days are over.

 

"You stay classy Hagen Tyler," said in my best Ron Burgundy voice.

Hagen Tyler is a class act. I've tried several times for him to talk smack and he never will. He gives every player credit, and never talks bad about another player. I'm sure gonna hate when this senior class leaves, the whole class is a classy bunch, and have each others back.

Complete domination from start to finish by the Rebels and I loved every minute of it!!! I could tell early on that Hagen was going to put on a show. He had that look that their was no way Lincoln was coming in his house and winning this game. Conway was completely taKen out of the game and Boyles defense had him frustrated. Big time performance by Tyler. Elkins dominated inside. Great win by the Rebels.

 

He stepped up and did what a great senior leader does. Not only did he score 34 but he did it like he does it every game and that was even more impressive. Always smooth and always classy. When Hagen Tyler gets the ball he is so dangerous. Lincoln also didn't play well, I don't think it would have mattered with Tyler hitting the way he was but they missed a lot of open shots as well. Districts will be exciting this year in Garrards little gym. I also love that the 12th this year has 4 or 5 real good teams and few others that could bring a late season upset. You never know with high school sports and that's the best part.
