Survivor: World's Apart

Yeah I definitely agree with you there. I'd love to be down towards the end and have one of those eating challenges, when they put gross food in front of you. It would be awful but I feel like I could choke down anything quick.

That's what she said.

Nice write-up FKYW.

I like Carolyn for some reason and can see her going long as well.

Dan reminds me of a retired clown for some reason.

Hali - Something cute about her to me. I bet she's one of the few women who will actually look better at the reunion show. Most of the time, I think they look better on the island.

Jenn - Big fan of her. She's my favorite women on the show. She just seems like a cool chick that I'd love to have a beer with.

Joe is a stud. They need to get him out of there or he will walk through the finals.

Mike/Rodney - I hate that they work together. I like Mike. Seems like a good guy, but not as smart as he thinks he is. Rodney is certainly a character and I'm glad he's on the show because he keeps it entertaining, but man he'd drive me nuts if I was on the show. He's like a dumb puppy that you gotta keep on a leash.

Sierra is whatever to me. Don't have much to say about her.

Shirin - I find her extremely annoying.

Tyler - I don't know what it is about him, but I really don't care for him, especially after last night. Just don't care for him much at all.

Will - Just along for the ride at this point. FKYW summed up how I feel about him exactly.

Dan reminds me of NYC contact killer, Richard Kuklinski.

Dan may now be in position for a ride to the finale. He has no shot at winning unless he's sitting next to Rodney.

We've had this discussion in past seasons but don't the players realize that in addition to the strategic game they are playing a social game? Not only do you have to get rid of people but you have to do it in such a way that those people whose dreams you helped crush will be willing to give you a million dollars. People have argued that strong strategic should be rewarded and to a point I agree but it's easy to sit by your TV and say you would do it if you aren't one of the people who just saw their game explode.

Survivor tonight. I'm going to have to watch it on delay after the Reds game.

Weather affected my DirecTV. I saw the challenge then it went straight to next week's preview.

Great episode. I'm really enjoying this season even though collectively this may be the most unlikable group ever.

STUPID VOTE. There was a real chance to shift the power in the game and once again they seem not smart enough to see it.

A little bummed that Hali went. Not totally sure why but I had a little thing for her and that only increased after her random American Flippers comment at tribal last night.

Definitely another great episode. Joe is a beast.

I thought Mike was starting to lose it a little in this episode haha! Glad he found that idol.

Sirin is a nut job.

Love Jenn vs. Rodney.

So mad that Hali went home instead of Dan! He is such a jerk!

He might be the biggest one they've ever had on the show.

The male blue collar players are all jerks. Mike is delusional, Rodney is just an idiot and Dan may be the worst of the bunch.

Sierra is an idiot. She had a real opportunity to shift power, that's now gone.

Carolyn and Tyler are stupid for aligning themselves so closely with the BC tribe. Neither of them are good enough in challenges to win immunity once Joe is gone. They get picked off as soon as Joe and Jenn are gone.

Will is a non-factor. He's just a floater, no chance to win anything. That is the only reason he's still around.

Sirin is irritating but I actually felt sorry for her the way butt head Dan was talking to her last night and found my self hoping she would win immunity.

Joe and Jenn are by far my favorite people that are left this season but I don't see any way that one of them doesn't go next week, in fact it looks like Jenn may throw in the towel. I hope not because if she does she won't be on the jury and her questioning at the final tribal could be entertaining.

Very interesting votes last night by the underground alliance of Tyler and Carolyn. They seem to be placing a lot of faith in Carolyn's secret idol. They had a chance last night to lessen the blue collar stranglehold on voting and took a pass. I guess they are biding their time and trying to stay off the radar as long as possible.

On another note, does anyone else find it interesting how little they show Joe being involved in the voting strategies? Is he really a loner and not even playing strategically? Or do the producers know we will see a lot of him at the end of the game so they are focusing on other people in the current shows?

I hadn't really thought about it but I hope you're right about that.

I also think that Carolyn and Tyler are going at the angle that they aren't close that they don't want to tip their hand yet, I'm afraid though that it may be to late. I really don't see how other then winning every immunity challenge (which he could do) Joe survives.

I did find it strange that he was not involved in any discussions about who to vote off.
