Been a busy week, so I'm behind on the updates. But I've gotten to talk to PH again, and he sounds so much stronger! He has his dialysis port switched out and they're going to abrade (?) His pressure sores on Monday. MAYBE Wednesday he'll get to leave the hospital. I'm not clear if he'll get to go home, or to a care facility though.

Wednesday night brought a different sort of excitement for Mrs.PH. She was called by the police when someone was caught robbing PH's mother's house. She doesn't live there, and there wasn't much to take, but MrsPH had to go deal with it. Just what she needed, right? But when I talked to her, she was laughing about the whole situation.

PH wanted me to make sure I told all of you how much he appreciates your prayers and that he hopes everyone on the site is doing OK.

Just saw this thread and I am glad I just now did as I love PH to death. Love seeing him at the title games and trading programs. A great man!!!

I'm pulling for u bro!!!

Glad to hear PH is improving, I'm praying daily for his continued improvement, also praying hard for Mrs PH. God love her, she has enough to deal with without having to put up with some moron robing her mom's house! Thoughts and prayers for both of them! God bless!

Just off the phone with Mrs.PH. PH had surgery to address his pressure sores today, and they had to remove tissue all the way to the bone. Not sure what the next step is. Secondarily, he has to have amother catheter inserted tomorrow for dialysis, the one he has isn't working. If this new one doesn't work, they'll have to insert through his heart into his lung. Prayers are still urgently needed, not only for recovery, but for strength for the two of them, please.

Continued prayers! I hate that he has so much to deal with, praying hard that things turn around quickly in his favor!

Thankfully, the surgery today worked and dialysis was performed successfully! The doctor ordered all his IV's removed and told him it was because he'd have to take everything by mouth at home. So, it's apparent that they are beginning the transition to get him home. He faces a lot of treatments and care out of the hospital, but at least he will be home at the end of the day.

Good news! Thanks for update & will continue prayers for his recovery.

Spoke with Mrs. PH last night. They were without cell service a couple of days, last Friday/Saturday, but I got to talk to her last night. PH has been asleep since last Friday night. So that is concerning. His regular doctors will be back today so hopefully they'll figure out what is going on. Mrs. PH is back to sleeping at the hospital, and she sounds so tired. Please continue to pray!

Because of the conference activities and travel, I wasn't able to update you, but on Tuesday, Mr.PH was awake, and in fact, Mrs.PH kidnapped him from the hospital and took him on a joy ride to Mc Donalds! I had a voice mail from her yesterday saying he was going home today. Hoping to have a chance to call her tonight and find out more.

So happy to hear this news!
