Fleming Co. coaching search

Featured Replies

I have to correct you CSI. Messer is a great young coach. He will land another coaching position and whatever school hires him will be getting a dandy. :thumb:

I wouldn't be so sure about that. If he does land a head coaching job somewhere, it might be a couple of years. That might be enough time to get all the things that went on at Fleming off his plate. IMO, he let a great thing slip by him at Fleming Co.

I know some interviews will occur Saturday.

Chris Trusty would be a great hire.

If, if, ands, and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas. It's not if he lands a job, but when! He merits on and off the court and as an administrator at Fleming speak for themselves (check around). IMO it seems like you have a personal issue with Messer. :fight:

What ball did Fleming drop? Fleming made a good hire when they hired Messer.

If they made such a good hire, why is he gone after a such a short stint. I also understand that he didn't leave on the best of terms either, did he?

I have no problems at all with Todd. Great person IMO.

I'm just saying that the things that are now on his "record" don't look real good. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he decides to do.

D. Brown is not even thinking about putting his name in that hat!!! He interview for it before and Fleming dropped the ball, letting him get away!! He is very happy at Bourbon, so let that rumor fade into the sunset! Good things in store for BC Basketball!!!!!

You beat me to it! Fleming could have had Brown or Jim Conway (North Laurel) a few years ago when they were assistants and interviewed for the job, but Fleming opted to go in another direction. Both coaches are very happy where they are and will do find jobs at Bourbon & North Laurel.

Correct!! Messer was a good hire! But, DB is happy at BC end of story! NC not even on the radar!!!

Great. I hope Brown stays at Bourbon. He wouldnt fit at Fleming with all the screaming and antics he does. Fleming wants a coach thats going to jump through hoops like a they are at a dog show. That doesnt fir Brown.

Someone from Tennesse applying? His last name wouldn't be Kelly would it?

Brad Fraser who was coach at Christian County a few years back.

Interviews haven't started yet. They are going on all day Saturday. Look for a new coach by the end of the night. Press release on Monday morn. I'm sure. :thumb:

Brad Fraser is currently at Kenwood High in Clarksville ... the guy seems to bounce around a lot. He's coached in Indiana and he was also at Marion County for a year or two.
