Fleming Co. coaching search

Trusty from Morgan Co. is can't miss. He knows the region and what it takes to get out of it and go to Rupp. He is fairly young and would have a great work ethic.

Arnold has a head shaped like a football, but that doesn't make him a football. So I guess it really doesn't matter what you think about yourself. It's what everyone else knows.

Huh?

:thumb: I would hate to see him leave Morgan Co.

Just commenting on the big head. Just for reference Arnold is a cartoon character. I'm glad he thinks highly of himself, but I don't think if he took an approval rating poll in Fleming right now he would even get close to the president's approval rate.

Interviews starting next week?

Here in Morgan word is that Trusty has a really good shot at it, along with a teaching position.

There is also another great assisant coach applying from the eastern side of the region. Sorry, but this is all I am allowed to say.

Question, On the KHSAA posted job openings, most of the job openings ask for letters of interest to be sent to the AD. Why does the Fleming opening want the people interested in the job to contact Sorrell and not the athletic director or the superintendent like the other schools? Is the choice left up to Sorrell to pick someone he likes and not necessarily the best person for the job?

In a public school, it is always the Principal's choice. Although at some schools, the AD, etc. do some screening and recommending.

Names being thrown around are Wayne Breeden, Chris Trusty, Justin Moore, Jim Hicks just to name a few.

I dont think Breeden would want to come to Fleming

Fleming better let someone besides Sorrell pick a head coach. Sleepy Adams is the AD. Better get some input from him on this decision.

Interviews have already started

Speaking of Sleepy, will Chuck Adams be applying?

What about Robbie Graham? (Just kidding)

I would hate to see Russell lose such a quality coach, but I believe Merle Kidwell would be a great choice for the Fleming Co. job. I know he wanted the Russell boys job when it was open, but he was passed over twice.
