The West is practice at MSU's stadium of the evening all this week beginning tonight at 5:30.

Fleming County's Zach Roth and Nick Edwards have also signed with Centre. Congratulations to all of these young men!

Thanks.

Someone from Tennesse applying? His last name wouldn't be Kelly would it?

Sleepy Adams had his chance years ago. I had to throw in the Robbie Graham shot. Let's hear what rumors are flying! I haven't heard any today. I would say Kelly Crain and Brad Sorrell will have the absolute say in this.... period.

Coach Pumphry was a gem. It is amazing how many lives he has touched through so many different schools and generations. He never forgot anyone that he coached or coached against. He was from the old school in every way. God Bless him, he will be missed greatly.

Fritz pitched, he had 14 strike outs.

Speaking of Sleepy, will Chuck Adams be applying? What about Robbie Graham? (Just kidding)

Apparently UK's coach doesn't think so. In what areas do you think he needs to improve tremendously? Just curious, I don't know much about the 16th region, but had Fleming remained in the 10th he would have been probably the number 1 or 2 best player from that region and bats over 400 both ways. He isn't a pitcher, but has to pretty often and does a pretty good job.

I think Fritz is debating that right now. He has the opportuninty to play football in college, but hasn't yet made his final decision. I've been told that if he decides to not play football than he hopes to walk on at UK for baseball. Overby did quit school and the others are ineligible.

Troy Lee wouldn't have had a shot in my opinion at the job, personally I hope Justin Moore gets the job.

The only returning starter for Fleming this year is Jordan Fritz. Heath Tubbs, Adam Donovan and Jeremy Overby would have been the other returning key players. We have an extremely young and inexperienced team, but the young boys are working hard.

Does the Cats Pause publish any pre-season predictions or rankings for baseball like the do for football and basketball?

My understanding is Coach Messer is suspended from coaching for 10 days. If that is correct, if Fleming County can get the win Monday night, he would be back for the regional tournament.

Newcomer to the 16th region, Jordan Fritz will be on of the best hitters. He is a stand out catcher, solid pitcher and a consistant switch hitter for the Panthers.
