Yes . That could of been a pretty good match up . Ofcourse I expected last years matchup to go down to the wire and

Cooper came out with high intensity and a great defensive scheme. I am sure Eagles would of liked to get that one back . I would of rather seen that matchup this year than Holycross .

Scott arguably has the top 1-2 punch in Northern Kentucky in Deondre Pleasant and Roberto London. With their "Big Boys" up front, I think Coach Dan Woolley will finally get that 1st playoff win that has eluded him the last couple of seasons.

I think they might be Newport Catholic; should be a really good one to watch regardless of who wins. Only games that I couldn't see them winning are against Dixie and Simon Kenton. Their games against Bourbon County and Harrison are tough picks too. Either way, I believe that winning seven, maybe eight games is very possible.

I hope they have plans to "modernize" their offense. I think for them to fully reach their potential,, they may need to diversify the way they move the ball down the field.

Is Harrison going to be that good?? They didn't win a game last year, and do they even have a head coach yet?? And since 2010 they've only won a total of 6 games. I just can't see that situation as being improved enough to challenge Scott (or really any decent 4a teams)

I know a lot of people don't like it, but there are many successful, state championship quality teams across the country that run the single wing. That offense has been tailored to the personnel they've had....very good running backs and big offensive lineman. They haven't had a true outside threat to throw the ball to. This team wouldn't have won any more games over the last 2 years running a different offense.

I agree. I think the confidence, Fitzgerald will bring after last season and the solid line , they should open up a passing game and hopefully run more inside holes as well. The help from some younger sophomore talents will definitely contribute and open up some receivers . I also have heard Jake Ohmar and a few other athletic guys from the basketball team maybe joining the roster this season. These boys played as Freshman and at Woodland , but took this past season off only for basketball. They are very athletic. They could be key contributors to receiving and defensive secondary.

Rumors are Manson County maybe getting a new head coach. If this is the case , it maybe beneficial for the Eagles beings we are in same district. There is always a learning curve with a coaching change . I see the odds being very realistic Eagles pull out 8 wins and district championship.
