Yes, he has to be back. He is only a sophomore and not a redshirt sophomore so he has to return for 1 more year.

 

Thats why I think it will be true that Elliott and whoever is the starting QB for the Buckeyes will be at the top of the Heisman list going into the season.

I think it took A major hit.

 

He looked very bad in the pocket and his arm did not look all that strong.

 

I also have never liked him as a NFL starting QB.

Shouldn't hurt him. Lost some big WRs over the year and his TE. He also had some big drops as well.

 

Mariota will be a good NFL QB, but a team has to be smart. Don't put a square peg in a round hole. If a team expects him to play 100% old fashioned football they need to select a different QB. I would love for him to end up with Chip Kelley.

I respect Greg Cosell's opinion and he questions Mariotta's ability to be an NFL QB. Maybe it's best that he does fall to the Eagles.
