Holy Cross beat Highlands by 15 in regular season but you can't put much into that. I expect this to be a good first round game. Could go either way.

Isn't this tournament now called the "Jack Kaelin Freshman Classic?" He put this whole thing together for something like 30-40 years. Amazing.

 

Yessir, it is. The bracket Just Jim shared a link to up in the third post actually shows it that way. I got to help with the tournament for a few years back when I was in his German and Economics classes at Cov Cath...he offered extra credit to any of his students willing to help run things. At least in my German classes, I was essentially left with no option but to work the tournament.

 

I'm glad they named it after him, though. He always did a REALLY great job putting something that otherwise could have more or less gone completely ignored.
