To me the Ullis vs. Harrison debate is just as much about defense as it is on offense. Offensively Andrew will come in to his own and be good enough like last season. Defensively both of the Twins are struggling mightily. They practiced it in the Bahamas, but I would love to see some more zone.

Don't think I could possibly disagree with you more. The twins have made huge improvements defensively this year, and Andrew's defense in OT was a huge reason they won the game.

I don't want Andrew "coming into his own," b/c that means he has to dribble the ball 3xs before he moves it against the zone. I want him playing on the wing w/ his brother w/ Ulis at point. Ulis makes the extra pass. Andrew can sometimes get to the rim. Honestly, I'd prefer Booker over him as well.

Ulis was awful defensively last night, he let numerous drives to the baskets go right by him as it looked like he was on his heels.

Worse than Harrison? Come on. Not one person on that defense, outside of WCS, played a good game defensively.

No, Moody getting cramps was a huge reason that UK won. Nobody on UK was stopping him from penetrating.

Remember when someone said that Booker couldn't hit 3's against solid competition earlier in the season?

In his last 4 games (UNC, UCLA, UofL, and Ole Miss) Booker is struggling mightily from deep. He's only hit 12 of his 14 attempts. :lol2:

Umm, both were big reasons they won. I know everyone on here loves to hate on the twins, specifically Andrew, but they don't even come close to winning that game without him last night.

Not disagreeing, but when the bar is set so low there is nowhere to go but up. Ole Miss was also able to drive right by them on many occasions and off the ball is where I thought they really struggled. Ole Miss was running unguarded along the baseline a big chunk of the evening.

He has gotten his confidence down and I am loving it. That has to be a big adjustment coming from high school where you shoot 25 times a game. I think kids like Booker take a while because they press so much with the limited opportunities they get.

Did Cal address why Lee only logged one minute? Has he been sick or in the doghouse?

He's not as good as Willie Cauley-Stein.

I thought Booker played well defensively, especially down the stretch and in OT. I didn't pay enough attention to his first half to say if it was good for the whole game. But he did very well towards the end.

Every time he shoots, especially off a pass, I feel like its going to go in. I used to get that way with Lamb, but I think I feel that way even more with Booker. Love him.

Might be the first game that I can say I genuinely missed Alex Poythress. He might have created more of a defensive spark at times in this one.

I was surprised last night when they said he had just underwent surgery yesterday, seems like a long wait. I guess it was due to the holidays.

Not sure how it works for an athlete, but for an everyday citizen, its probably best to have all the medicals bills for everything on the same year (deductible). Made that mistake when I had my ACL surgery.

First of all proud as ever for these guys fighting and not giving up. This team NEEDED a win like that. The "vets" really stepped up down the stretch. A few things to note:

-I think they missed AP in a game like this.

-Marcus Lee was NOT hurt, he is just not as good as WCS or Dakari. Let Cal play the guys he sees fit.

-I agree with a previous poster that Lyles looked sluggish, not sure what was going on there.

-I may be in the minority here, but I like Andrew Harrison in there as much as possible.

-Also AK is a funny dude.
