I don't understand the fuzzy math they use to say GT runs plays at the same pace as Oregon. FSU has not faced a team that will zone read any player in the box at any given time.

That article misses a lot. Oregon's pace is like effected by the leads they have. They slow down a bunch when they're up by 30, which is often.

 

Georgia tech also runs a true option which messes with the clock and doesn't make the pace right. Wide tosses equal a ton of plays ending out of bounds.

Oregon doesn't push the pace as much as Kelly did, but they still play faster than anyone else IMO.

I think the Noles will find a way to win.

Before the season, I took a split on futures and put 1/2 on Oregon and 1/2 on Stanford thinking that one would be in the playoffs and I could hedge. Even with Oregon being the huge favorite that they are, I'm honestly a little worried. I think everyone is still overlooking FSU.

That ND team that was flat out embarrassed should have lost to Pitt (shanked kick). I don't think that ND would beat any of the 4 in the CFP. There are no similarities between that ND team and this FSU team.
