I was thinking 8. You see goofy stuff like that on breakaways sometimes, but the Deng one was horrendous. Corey Brewer looked like he was setting up for a dunk contest jam :lol2:

Both are horrible, but the Brewer one is the worst of the 2 in my opinion. Middle of the court wide open in full view for everyone in the whole place to see. Problem is this seems to be getting worse in the NBA. How in the world a ref doesn't blow his whistle on these I have no clue.

Go back to last year and the hand checking point of emphasis in the college game. 2 hours 45 minutes games while 50-60 fouls were assessed. So little Lauren Hill walked in the backcourt with no one around her because she's got brain cancer. Let us manage the game.

Good lord my man, where in the world did this come from? Horrible? Yes, it was a HORRIBLE no call in so far as basketball officiating is concerned. That has nothing to do with the completely unrelated events you brought up.

 

And you don't think those obvious traveling calls should be called? By gosh if you are a ref I sure hope you don't call one of my games.

 

Let me flip your example back on you. You say people pay $500 a ticket to see athletes do what most can't. EVERYONE on this board can pick up their dribble and take 6 steps. The LAST thing I want to see for my $500 would be that.

Dengs was in a space of about 6 feet at least. Brewer walked for an entire half court.
