I'm thinking they miss about 25 travels a game.:laugh:

I saw one where big guy was on baseline and basically went for a open jumpshot and landed back down on floor and then went up again to shoot.

I think they should have been yellow carded and the next travel they're out of the game!

Really? Horrible? I define horrible as the 911 planes, the plight of the American soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan and the killing of the kids in Newtown. We hear that phrase every night being screamed at us as referees.

By my name, you can tell what side I am going to take. But if you pay $60-$100-$500 for a ticket for a NBA game, you expect to see entertainment, not 3 short guys blowing a whistle. It wasn't the end of the game, and the fans got to see a play that 98 % of the audience can't make. Can you pay $500 to see something you can do yourself? When was the last time you walked out of the arena saying that that lead official really got himself into great position to see that travel. Never? The NBA is entertainment and a business.

 

Same thing with lower than varsity level basketball. The players aren't as skilled so you pass on some of the marginal violations if it doesn't affect the flow of the game. Go back to last year and the hand checking point of emphasis in the college game. 2 hours 45 minutes games while 50-60 fouls were assessed. So little Lauren Hill walked in the backcourt with no one around her because she's got brain cancer. Let us manage the game.

 

Then get better, and quit being so horrible.
