December 11, 201411 yr I actually like some of Hooters food. The wife and I get it carryout sometimes. And I'm not a food idiot. More to the opposite actually. I get their parmesan and garlic wings to go. Rarely are the Hooters girls what is being sold to us.
December 11, 201411 yr It's been a while since I have been because my last few experiences were terrible. I had their wings a few times and they were terrible back then. Might be better now or an isolated incident but I gave it two times.Their wings are GARBAGE! Buffalo shrimp is one great! Burgers are ok. the Mahi Mahi is actually REALLY good.

December 12, 201411 yr Just stay away from the crazy bartender @ the Kilt. OK, there has to be a good story behind this comment???? There was one is Louisville but they picked an area where restaurants just don't make it for some reason. In a better spot they probably would have done fine.
December 12, 201411 yr Just went there for dinner tonight and it was actually the wife's idea. Who can argue with that? Got the Kilt Club, wasn't the best but wasn't the worst either. The scenery more than made up for the food.

In a better spot they probably would have done fine. Been to the TK in Scottsdale, Az many times (when on golf trips)...food is fine and scenery is well...better than the food...
December 12, 201411 yr Don't let the full lot, and the lot behind it being full stop you from going in, both lots were full and there was still plenty of room inside. My food came within 10 mins.
