The Comeback

Featured Replies

I remember that!!!! I remember I didn't know how to feel, if I felt bad for the team that had the huge lead only to lose it with only seconds left in the game, or the team that made the huge comeback only to lose it on the last kickoff. What a game, you could just hear the pain in all of the announcers voices on that kickoff.

I don't know which was better...the guys in the booth or the game itself. Thanks for posting!

I can't believe what I just saw.

Hard to believe that was 20 years ago.

I have the same feelings! That was completely nuts.

Also, the reason that I posted it is because I think ESPN is doing a 30 for 30 on it. Should be pretty cool.

That could be the best announcing I have ever heard:

"I done wet my britches"

"I think I am going to throw up"

That was amazing

20 Years? Unreal.

I remember watching that on Sports Center one morning before work as I was ironing my shirt.

What a roller coaster ride that was. I felt so bad for those kids who made the comeback only to see it taken away on the kick return.

No doubt it made the calendar....John Tyler Football 1995 summer practice #1, drill #1: Kick Return - Hands Team.
