It's still very early in the season so it's hard to really know where teams truly are. We'll find out where a lot of teams stand really quickly.

Wayne County has two huge tests this week with Lincoln County and Southwestern. They lose both of those games and they'll likely go from top 10 to out of the rankings completely and Lincoln County and Southwestern will be knocking on the door to be in the rankings. Southwestern has a great case to be in the rankings after beating PCC like they did. If they win out this week I'd think they'd be in. Call me crazy but I think Southwestern may be better this year than last year and could very well be the team to beat in the 12th Region.

Boyle County has a ton of respect right now but one false move and they could drop drastically also. I love love love seeing them in the top 10. That is awesome for the team. I hope they validate their ranking each week.

Bardstown's narrow victory over Marion County really has me questioning them after I was able to see Casey County play. They have Manual, Trinity and John Hardin this week. We'll find out about Bardstown soon enough.

It's really intriguing looking at the BGP Regional previews and how some teams were ranked in the previews and how they are ranked in the BGP Top 20. I love seeing the different mindsets of the people involved in getting this information out to us.

Taylor County is a team I have a close eye on. The addition of Brandon Berry seems to be working out very well early on. They could be a fast rising team this year in the rankings.

I feel like these rankings are pretty close to being accurate based on what we know right now as of today. I'd have no problem with Henderson County being ranked somewhere in the 18-20 range. As time goes on I expect them to make the rankings.

Lots of great early season matchups ahead. I expect these rankings to change a whole lot this year.

How good is Cov. Cath this year?

Friday will tell something..

They will be very good, but the loss of Ruthsatz can not be overstated how big he was to the team and their title run last year.

Do they have any bigs?

Biggest player is Bo Schuh at 6'6...a couple 6'4-6'5 kids.

Covcath isn't as talented as last year's team but they are deeper this year. Nothing flashy about them but they flat out get it done at both ends. Very fundamental and hardnosed. Will throw multiple defenses at you both full court and in the half court because of their depth. Offensively they run good sets.

It will play out in the end. I would put some teams a couple places higher, some lower, overall I think these are pretty good. If I had to, I would probably move Doss down a little and Henderson Co and Lincoln Co into the top 20. Taylor County is looking really good right now.. I don't know enough about some of the teams to make a quality decision.

Where does Clay rank in the state.

I really like Taylor Co to continue to rise in the rankings.

Will be keeping an eye on Boyle. Not sold on them being top 10 but like PP said, we will know a lot about them by the end of December

I don't know if I'm sold on us being top 10 but I'll take it while we have it. One false move and bam....see ya....:lol2:

Bardstown out....Henderson County in...as of now....at least that's my vote.

Not sure, but they got a nice win tonight.

They are 25th according to the Lexington Hearld, and i look for them to be in the top 20 next time it comes out. They are better than last years team.
