Actually, two of those were from the SAME GAME.

 

Chester Thomas went 12/29 from 3 on January 28, 1992 against Millersburg. David Gross went 14/25 on the same date vs. Millersburg on January 28, 1992.

That sounds like me in a church league game.

Jackson City won that game 180-72.

Jackson City was punishing teams that year (1st & 2nd most points scored)

I have buddy from Jackson City and he had 12 in the game vs MMI. I chuckled when he would talk about that outburst.

HB, we are all much more shocked that you made 1 than that you attempted 30...

Scott Draud attempted more than 20 EVERY game...they just did not have the 3 point line in yet when he played. I think they put it in HS the year he left for college.

The 3 point shot has changed the way the game is played and not for the better IMO. Everything now is a layup or a 3. Nothing in between. To me the game was more entertaining before it came along. I know I will get criticized as old-fashioned so bring it on.

Imagine what his 69 point game total would have been with a 3 point line!

They would have guarded him differently LA but he would pull up from anywhere and let it fly. I believe he had 25 in the 4th quarter that game and Kenney Shields took him out with just over a minute left because he did not know he was that close to 70...

I'd say a lot of those stats were not sent in. The coach from Tollesboro put together a book with all the schools game box scores in it if anybody has access to it they could clarify for us.
