I saw in a game thread that a player took 20 3 PT shots in one game. I can't recall seeing that before.

 

What's the most you can think of in one game?

I once went 10-20 from 3 against Cumberland my jr year.

With most teams living & dying by the 3 these days, it happens. An example would be Jeffersontown's Johnson shoots twice as many 3s than he does 2s but that is part of the offense (very frustrating) . Not sure if he shot more that 15 a game yet this year but I do see 20+ in the future.

If Todd Conley doesn't have the record it would be a miracle. I remember after the regional tournament a reporter asked him if he arm was hurting after shooting that many shots. Todd responded, "I have shot more than that before in one game".

Wow. Good for you. If I was the other coach you would not have touched the ball much after you hit about 4 or 5.

The 3 point shot has changed the way the game is played and not for the better IMO. Everything now is a layup or a 3. Nothing in between. To me the game was more entertaining before it came along. I know I will get criticized as old-fashioned so bring it on.

I'm trying to think. Most I can think of in one game would be Rod Snapp at Better Bodies. :lol:

I won't knock your argument. The mid-range game has suffered without question. It's one of the things I like about watching CVH play for the Colonels. Great pull-up jumper.

 

There are a lot of good 3s to take in a game though. They're going to get you as many points as driving out of control to the rim will.

 

Like any shot it has to be a GOOD or RIGHT shot to take.

I like kids/players who can drain it from deep but watching a player like Cousins or Jahlil Okafor down in the paint is so much fun and watching someone be able to knock down mid-range jumpers is also a treat.
