December 4, 201411 yr ^Yes. Cowherd said today that he's been told a name of a guy currently coaching who is on Michigan's shortlist. Said it's not a guy that's being rumored, but that Michigan fans will think it's a homerun if he's hired. Wouldn't give up the name, but said it should come out this weekend. :idunno:

Les has about done everything he can at LSU.............He might want a change of scenery to rebuild another program. Plus he fits the mold of a Michigan guy. If they get him I think he will make an immediate impact.

December 4, 201411 yr As an aside Urban and Les went 3-3 against each other in the SEC. Michigan is crazy if it does not go over Les Miles with everything they have. If they get him I can see these two leaving the rest of the Big 10 behind as they recruit the athletes they got in the SEC. Back to the good old days of Big 2 and the other 8......... :banana:
December 4, 201411 yr Mark Stoops has essentially proven nothing...yet. Jury is still out. No way he should be a serious candidate. Maybe not quite the head scratcher, but it would be hard to argue if they hired Stoops it would be much if any better than the Riley hire at Nebraska.
