Someone asked me today whether this game would be broadcast in N.Ky on a cable channel. Does anyone have any idea?

It will be shown online at khsaa.org and just look for the link. All the finals are scheduled to be shown. Not sure about cable.

I really loved Trinity's series with MBA. I hope they can renew it again. I loved MBA's campus. One of the nicest ones I have ever seen.

Unfortunate the Tigers choked this one away. MBA not interested in renewing the series with Trinity. Brentwood Academy returns to schedule in 2015 and 2016 along with Ensworth.

Dixie is a very nice team, I've seen them three times and was impressed by them for different reasons all three games. They bounced back from a tough loss in big time fashion against Beechwood. They played horribly against a young Cincinnati Turpin team on the road and figured out a way to win it anyway. And, they absolutely dominated Simon Kenton (the regular season matchup..and they did it again in the post-season- a game I didnt see). They've had a great year. They're tough and physical, they play hard, and they are well coached. Moore, Zajac, and Johnson can all play for anyone in the state.

 

That being said, this is, by far, the best team they'll play. We don't have any common opponents, but it appears they're basically playing a team the caliber of Cincinnati's Moeller or St X. I've seen them, too...and , IMO, those two would be a little too much for this Dixie team. I hope I am wrong, but I think Trinity wins something along the lines of 35-20.

For those hoping the Rocks will overlook Dixie, not happening, all I've heard all week from the T players & coaches is how good Dixie is, they certainly have the Rocks attention!! Good luck to everyone & of course I hope the game is played hard & injury free. Go Rocks!! See everyone in BG!!!

I may have said this earlier in the thread, but this is a game that you can't judge until you see the teams in action on the field. When we see the individual and team matchups on the field is when we will begin to know what to expect. Dixie's schedule is good for most 6A teams. It is comparable to Male's and they beat Trinity. It is better than Scott County's and they won a title last year. It is not near as good as Trinity's schedule though so that makes it more difficult to judge how good Dixie is versus Trinity.

 

Dixie's defense is not getting any talk but they are very good. They are strong at the line of scrimmage and they have very good defensive backs on the back side.

 

Nothing will surprise me in this game. A Dixie win will not shock me. A lopsided win by Trinity will not shock me. Anything can happen.
