To Greenfan08 & 99% of the MC fans, congrats on a great season & thanks for the hospitality, everyone we ran into was very nice. We were standing by the fence toward the school enzone & didn't see any antics by anyone at all, both fan bases were pretty mixed together & were just watching the game & minding their own business.

I had several conversations with some great T fans. They were polite and very complementary of our little campus. I'm sure there are bad apples in every bunch but my experience with the Rock fans was a good one.

Not trying to demean other schools, but first off congrats to T. But secondly, how handily T won and probably will win in the finals, what does that say about the super district.

Most of those teams had a capable passing game and our defense was missing two starters in the defensive secondary were out moat of the season.

^ Yes, exactly, which is why I (unfortunately) used the word "porous" -- I apologize for that. Looking back on this, I meant to say the defense was penetrable -- not porous. Bad choice of words that haunted me for at least a dozen posts lololol...

You could tell this loss really hurt the MC players ~ which means they are winners & come back next year loaded & hungry. The one thing the staff ought to think about is trying to line up a tougher schedule. Trinity has been so used to getting whacked by bigger and sometimes faster teams that when it comes to play against teams with lighter schedules, the Rocks have a bit of an advantage. There were times last night when Trinity QB Ryan Young was back to pass or running around looking for receivers & he seemed kinda stunned that a lot of big mean persons weren't hot on his trail. Young ran for his life in most of our games. The Rocks' tuff schedule did not make a difference last year tho ~ Male embarrassed us twice, the 2nd time was ugly. But a new D coach made all the difference this year. No reason Meade County can't gain with a heftier schedule. It's really something when you are the biggest show in your hometown.

The state championship in big school football in Kentucky runs through Louisville. No doubt.

Trinity's balanced multi-dimensional offense is very hard to defense on this level, thus the dominating games and many state championships. With their decision to schedule these tough out of state games in the "pre-season", they will keep the attention of their players who I might have noticed to be less interested as they blew through Kentucky high school competition in the past.

I can't say that I'm surprised by the lack of pass rush. The D line of Meade hasn't been strong for a while.... Well they haven't been "allowed" to be as strong as they could be. They're coached to contain the QB, and tonight proved that that doesn't always work.

I hear you. Trinity tried that last year, as in "containing" Davis Mattingly of Male, Gus Ragland of Moeller, & assorted other greats. Yeah, we contained them. Second Male game, Male 31-7. Moeller game, something like 42-14 (here's a clip, I can't watch it again: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=Trinity+v+Moeller+2013). And we had good players but that nutty D notion of "containment".

I think we saw other schools doing that at football & basketball games & we tried it out. Sometimes the pix are of players. Moms wave them & of course classmates. Looks weird. I love it.

First, congratulations to a great Trinity squad. You guys played lights out, Good luck next Saturday in BG. To my Waves, man what a run the last two years (23-6), 1 State 6A Runner-up, 1 State Semi-State Runner-up, 2 Region Championships, Revenged 2 losses (Scott Co. & Central Hardin). I have watched many of you since youth league. It was a great ride watching you guys grow into the men you are. I know things didn't go our way Friday, but you guys gave us a lot of priceless memories. Roll Waves !!
