Congrats to my ROCKS! Hitting on all cylinders! I feel bad for the Greenwave players... just totally over matched. I loved the atmosphere and the MC fans. We had a great time in Brandenburg. Be proud of your team MC! For my ROCKS... one more win to make it 23 titles. Also, congrats to our coaches for putting together an awesome game plan.

Meade Co. fans stayed til the end and applauded both teams at the final horn. Lots of respect for the Brandenburg folks. After that opening drive by Meade (off the brilliant pooch kickoff recovery) with the missed FG, it was all T after that.

Radio said 59 of MCs 103 total yards came on the last drive of the game.

 

I think they had like 40 on the first drive right? Not much else wow.

Also, our defense wasn't as "porous" as some thought it seems. Anyways... To Greenfan08 & 99% of the MC fans, congrats on a great season & thanks for the hospitality, everyone we ran into was very nice. We were standing by the fence toward the school enzone & didn't see any antics by anyone at all, both fan bases were pretty mixed together & were just watching the game & minding their own business.

Great season by the Greenwave. They showed over and over again when people questioned them that they belonged. They are a good team and Wilson is as tough as nails, great kid. Best of luck to Trinity against Dixie. Should be a good game if the moment doesn't get too big for Dixie.

Trinity statman estimated the crowd at 6,500. What say you, Greenwave fans? I enjoyed conversation at the gate with Greenwaver who stated Meade County pre-sold 803 tickets. He expected this to be the biggest crowd of the season and Meade County was prepared for it. The concessions were terrific and the restroom facilities provided were greatly appreciated. I did not witness any hassles off the field at all. The Meade County kids circling the track were respectful at all times. I bet it will not be too long before the schools meet again on the gridiron.

I know better than to be shocked by anything this great program accomplishes, but I really thought this game would be 28-0 at the worst. Very impressive win Shamrocks!! Congrats. Great season for Meade County, be proud. Looking forward to enjoy all the games in Bowling Green.

Congratulations to Trinity! You have a great team and coaching staff. The game went much as I thought T defense took our running game away and we just can't throw the ball. Our defense is coached to contain and play zone which is a recipe for disaster against Coverdale. We provided a great environment for a game but just couldn't get it done on the field. Again congrats on a great game. Go Big Green! Go Waves!

As a Meade county fan this hurts bad!!! But there was absolutely no denying that Trinity is the best team in the state. I shall eat my crow tonight, I really thought that Meade had a chance tonight, but they certainly proved me wrong. Great performance all around by the rocks. I hope that the Trinity faithful enjoyed there trip to Brandenburg, and the best of luck in the finals (not that you guys need it). Again congratulations!!!!

Man-o-man, did the ROCKS take us to the woodshed !!! Wow, just excellent -- what else can I say? I was TOTALLY wrong.

 

However, I am still very, VERY proud of our boys for a great season and 3-game thrill, but good God, you gotta take your hat to the ROCKS. Whew...
