Clay County 65 Pulaski County 64 (Scrimmage)

Clay wins in a close one. Blake Smith had 33 and sealed the win with 2 free throws with 5 seconds left. He was on another level tonight. Farmer also looked good for Clay. I will say this Clay has some work to do. There role players struggled and you could tell that Wolfe was still injured.

They surely aren't slow and can't play defense?! Wolfe sure can jump esp. when he is healthy. But Clay is a solid team that is well coached..Probably have to be the "Kings" to beat them at home. I'Ve seen them several times the last few years and they continue to impress me for what they are. Super glad they beat a 12th Region team in a scrimmage.........plenty more to say but ......Where was this played?..Just wanted to know so someone can get the icing for the cupcakes for the road

You're glad they beat a 12th region team? Pulaski is expected to be (maybe) top 10 in the region. And isn't Clay supposed to be top 1 or 2 in theirs? Perplexed by that statement. Had they won at Wayne or Boyle, that might be a tad different.

Whistled for 50 fouls? They must have had 4 or 5 guys foul out at least.

First time I've ever seem a coach get teed up in a scrimmage. Marcum came real close to getting the boot.

Clay County will be at Boyle County on January 3.

If they win that one, then they'll have some legitimate 12th region bragging rights!

Clay better be ready to play at Boyle co or it could get ugly.

Who fouled out?

Who officiated the game, Pulaski team managers? Lol.
