November 23, 201411 yr Author So would 2012 Notre Dame... On another note, did anyone else hear about where Jameis Winston should have been ejected? NFL rules guy Mike Pereira says he should have been ejected for shoving an official. You know, I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I guess by the letter of the law he should have been. It was a strange play since the ref wasn't where he was actually supposed to be (supposed to be over the ball and not behind the center), and Jameis tried to slide into place. He didn't really "shove" him but sort of nudged him aside.

November 23, 201411 yr Jimbo Fisher, Jameis Winston of Florida State Seminoles say contact with official wasn't malicious - ESPN I guess the 2 key points are the ref was trying to keep him from snapping the ball because they made a substitution and that he should have been ejected, plus penalized 15 yards. I guess by the letter I can see it, but I don't think he understood what was going on.
November 23, 201411 yr Author Also FSU is apparently of the belief that they did not substitute on that play. If have to see it again to make an impression. Supposedly it was an RB that the officials thought subbed. Jimbo was wildly unhappy with the officiating. Boston College had only a single live ball foul in the game. They weren't happy with the motion the BC center was making the entire time, among several other specific calls or non-calls. So it's not surprise they disagreed that he ref even should have been there. But it is literally something you never see because the official was not where he was supposed to be.
November 23, 201411 yr Gino Guidugli had 3 chances in the red zone to end that Ohio State run 5 years before UC was relevant... I remember that game. Wasn't it at PBS?
November 23, 201411 yr FSU is working on being the 4 seed and in a game against a buzzsaw...aka Alabama.

November 23, 201411 yr I'm here to tell you if they can't find a way to stop the run they'll lose to Georgia Tech. You mean Florida. No way Georgia Tech is better than Florida. Shame on you.

November 23, 201411 yr I'm here to tell you if they can't find a way to stop the run they'll lose to Georgia Tech. The way that FSU played today I would be more than surprised to see them beat Florida next week. They will be full of emotion for Muschamp's last game as I have heard he is well liked by his kids so you know they will play hard for him next week for sure!!
November 23, 201411 yr Can't tell if sarcasm..... Both real and sarcastic. Florida runs the ball well plus they are an SEC school. FSU has no chance against Florida let alone Georgia Tech. Even the crappy SEC schools that almost and should have lost to UK at home are at least 10 points better than FSU in Tallahassee.
