what makes this a bad idea is that baseball is so regionalized. Outside of the Yankees, very few teams have a strong national following. You see this in the generally weak tv ratings, and why baseball is really shown on cable networks. You play this years World Series anywhere but San Fran and KC, and no one shows up.

Terrible idea, baseball is immensely popular in the markets that have a team, and especially a team worth cheering for. If you love it to neutral sites, I guarantee the World Series would be less popular than it is now. Keep it local and reward the fans.

I somewhat like the idea of a neutral site on the surface. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to baseball so, I would have to say no. However, I do wish the Super Bowl was played on a Saturday night. Can you imagine the bar business? Wow!!
