November 5, 201411 yr How weird..I LOVE Chris Christie! Weird. Anyone as dedicated to union busting as him would definitely get a big fat NOPE on my ballot. He gets way to much credit just for not being a complete jerk to the president at every available opportunity. Hardly makes him a RINO. The guy ought to be the Chamber of Commerce choice for president.

November 5, 201411 yr Michael Rudolph @MRudolphComedy Let's take all the election signs and build a plane...the right wing will be cheap and covered with guns, the left is just happy we recycled
November 5, 201411 yr Oh, I don't like Chris Christie either...dude just seems obnoxious to me. I'm a big Chris Christie fan. He'd be a presidential candidate that I'd LOVE to vote for.
November 5, 201411 yr Random: I almost ran for office this year until I moved. In the future I foresee myself running for something.
November 5, 201411 yr Random: I almost ran for office this year until I moved. In the future I foresee myself running for something. That will definitely boost the chick game.
November 5, 201411 yr It's time for me to start really delving into what Christie is about. On the surface he's a loudmouth tub o goo that got some pub after a tragedy in his home state. I hope there's more under the layers.
November 5, 201411 yr Random: I almost ran for office this year until I moved. In the future I foresee myself running for something. I once had a dream that I was a rocket on the launch pad, standing tall and ready to take off. But then I just fell over. Not sure if that's applicable in this particular case, though.
November 5, 201411 yr R-Scott Walker wins re-election as Wisconsin's governor with a 5.67% margin over his challenger D-Mary Burke. That's the third time he's won in 4 years. Won in 2010 by 5.8%, and in 2012 by 6.8%. Wisconsin has leaned moderate-to-liberal for the last 25 years or so, but Republican Walker seems like he's there to stay - even after his controversial budget repair bill from 2011, which made Wisconsin a right-to-work state, did away with many collective bargaining rights for state workers, and prohibited unions' ability to automatically require dues from all employees in union businesses. Heard some early banter about Walker making a 2016 presidential bid.
November 5, 201411 yr Henderson was pretty uneventful this year with almost every local race being unopposed. The city commission was really the only exciting race on the ballot.
November 5, 201411 yr Alright Mr. Speaker Of The House and Mr. Senate Majority Leader, can we get our damn bridge now? Sincerely, -Greater Cincinnati
November 5, 201411 yr Alright Mr. Speaker Of The House and Mr. Senate Majority Leader, can we get our damn bridge now? Sincerely, -Greater Cincinnati I'm sorry but I don't consider myself "greater Cincinnati". I am from northern KY! There is nothing greater at all about that city! :thumb:
November 5, 201411 yr West Virginia Elects America's Youngest State Lawmaker - Washington Wire - WSJ A West Virginia University freshman who did most of her campaigning out of her dorm room became the youngest state lawmaker in the nation Tuesday. Republican Saira Blair, a fiscally conservative 18-year-old, will represent a small district in West Virginia’s eastern panhandle, about 1½ hours outside Washington, D.C., after defeating her Democratic opponent 63% to 30%, according to the Associated Press. A third candidate got 7% of the vote.
November 5, 201411 yr My random? According to my straw poll, though McConnell only defeated Grimes by about 15 percentage points at the poll, he defeated her 96%-4% in the post election speeches (with a margin of error of +/- 4%). Even AL Sharpton bashed Grimes "concession" speech! That was the biggest surprise I think I've ever seen out of him and he's given us plenty. And I don't care how much you hate McConnell, every politician on the planet can learn something from his victory speech.
