WOW!!!!! Talk about an over hyped team...Here we go again

 

Very disappointed in the lack of ability by the WC team. I was very impressed with the performance out of Highland driving 3.5 hr jumping off the bus and making a statement.

 

Boy you want to talk about going from playing the men to the boyz as it showed as Highland pushed WC around and did what they wanted with them. If Highland doesn't take their foot off the pedal this is a 70 to nutter

Purples were up 34-6 and Central scored a late TD for a final score of 34-13.

 

And you have NEVER heard me talk up Warren Central. My BG diploma would be stripped of me if I did so. I picked Warren Central in the contests but I always pick against Highlands.

All I know is Griffen Urlage ran the ball with a purpose tonight. And what about Beau Hoge? When Beau Hoge plays with the attitude he did tonight, Highlands will be a tough out....Period! Beau made a comment after the Game that he didn't want to win a game more than he did tonight. It almost sounded personal! And if anybody knows Beau Hoge, he plays normally with little or no emotion. Tonight was a different story......

Dragonfire and BIG BLACK JACK are the only Central fans on here. BBJ said last year's team was better and that this was the slowest Warren Central team he has seen. I could be wrong but I think he correctly predicted a running clock by Highlands.

 

Dragonfire just wanted his boys to be competitive.

 

I don't think I even commented in the thread and I definitely don't remember anyone saying anything about Warren Central being good. At least not in the way you are claiming them to be.

The radio guys were saying that the Highlands fans/team was calling Jension a traitor. Also said Highlands was mad about Jenson leaving Highlands to play for his dad. Those comments by the radio guys couldn't be farther from the truth. I think the folks at Highlands are intelligent enough to know with the two choices Jenson had that it would be playing for his dad at WC. I have NEVER heard one bad thing about Jenson ever to this day.

 

Now for the coach Feggins speech about Highlands. I've heard thousands of pregame speeches, but this one wasn't of the typical variety. I'm one Highlands fan, I cannot speak for all of the other Highlands fans, but I took it personal and if I was playing in the game, I would have played so hard that you would have to carry me off the field from exhaustion. So now that the results are in and the game is over, do the players feel worse than they would, if the coach just gave the normal pep talk? Do they take the loss much harder than they should?

 

WC and their fans have a nice football program and coach, nothing to hang their heads about. They played hard and didn't quit. I hope both teams came out injury free, and a safe trip home for the Birds.

I come and go from time to time and this Sweeperboy kid is starting to remind me of that other 8yr old from Indy, pls make it stop

 

Wasn't at the game tonight but I heard the Bluebirds were really on their game this evening. Congrats to the Birds on a nice victory and I wish certain posters would try and stay classy.:isurrender:

Actually, JB as much as I agree with most of your post, I do not agree with the bolded. They are not a very good football team according to my sources but they can build and keep working harder and good things will happen
