October 27, 201411 yr I'm with TB&G. Comfort above all! I'm so dorky that I don't even wear heels when I get dressed up any more. If a situation requires that much dress-up, I don't even go. The feet, knees, hips and back now overrule my vanity.

When sitting next to Rockmom in a social setting, PLEASE make sure that you footwear is sturdy to the point of being manufactured from Kevlar.

The last time in Finish Line I asked for a pair similar to the top right ones. The black guy helping me said "white guys love gray shoes". October 28, 201411 yr I've got a pair of all black Chuck's. When I was a kid you had 4 choices. Black, white, high, low. Every summer I'd get a job to help pay for school books and get a pair of Chucks for basketball. I'd put the new ones in my gym bag because those would never see concrete or blacktop, just the hardwood....or that strange floor that Bellevue installed years ago (kind of like a rubbery surface). October 28, 201411 yr For about 25 years these were the only shoes I wore. Would buy 3 pairs at a time from the outlet stores, but haven't found them the last 2 or 3 years. [ATTACH=CONFIG]47540[/ATTACH] I have a pair of similar Reeboks (no velcro straps though) that I got about 15 years ago that I just will not part with. They're beyond clean anymore, but no matter how worn out they are tread and all, they just still feel right.
