I think she'd be disappointed in all of your ballhandling.

She may even call a Personal Foul on you, especially if you double dribble

I personally can't understand that it took us to page 2 before we resorted to 2nd grade humor! We must be slacking

Seriously, this is at least the second female-teacher and male-student sex case to come out in the last few weeks.

If a male teacher had sex with a female student, the maximum sentence would not be 4 years (like this case). I could get off topic with a take on "gender equality" but it would be exactly that, off topic. For another time.

It's 4 years per charge and she has 30 of them. It's 120+ years she could face. More than likely it's going to be like 2 to 3, but still...not just 4 years for all the charges

It's a little disappointing that if this were a man who "raped" a 16 year old girl, the men on here would be condemning the guy (most of you would anyway). If it were your daughter or niece, you'd be livid.

But because it's a young girl who is good looking, she's getting no heat and all I see are jokes. I mean, I get it. She's cute...he's not a victim, etc. But if it were really okay, it'd be legal. He's 16. She's sick. And this should be treated with the same disgust that the roles reversed would be. Just my two cents...that I'm sure will be in the minority :)

I get what you're saying, and agree that it is against the law. But until 16 year old boys start accusing older women of rape, this will never be taken as seriously as if the roles were reversed.

Let the record show that none of those comments came from me this time!

You'll make up for it. :lol2:

Why would they go to the police when every guy and their father is telling him what a hero he is?! Until people get their priorities straight and stop making cute jokes about it, this will never be taken seriously. Hope it never happens to any of our children; I'm sure all will be singing a different tune.

Oh, I understand that. But it SHOULD be. That's all I'm saying.

I know there are many instances when what I'm about to say wasn't true, but I'd like to think that most teens would eventually speak up if something like this was REALLY bothering them. No chance it happens 30 times and he didn't want it to.

Apparently they were busted by the boy's ex girlfriend who followed them on a date.

So, can a 48 yo guy with a bad hip join the "21 Jump Street" police unit and go undercover as an 17 yo transfer student?:idunno:

Thank goodness somebody who knew what was going on did the right thing and spoke up.

Indeed,,,,,
