Yep my son just started youth wrestling. Mason and Noah are really good kids also.

I've loved Noah Hammond ever since his days in Boone Co Pee Wee league. He has a high motor and can absolutely hit. I haven't really seen him for about a year but he was lean and mean. The only thing I don't like about him is that he should be at Boone, same with Schlarmann. And come to think of it, O'Hara at Ryle, and... I could go on and on.

Why wouldn't of josh castleman's brother stay with the program his brother played for ? That is a talent we let slip away from our grasp. There must be more to why they decided against Scott for this young man. Good luck to him.

From what I understand, Josh was very, very close to going to Beechwood. There lots of things that go into those decisions. I know and respect the family and trust that they did what was best for Logan. I'd love for him to be at Scott because he's a good kid, not because he's a good football player. He'll do really well wherever he goes.

Seeing Maile and Raisbeck on the list, can't believe CCHS is recruiting these HHS alum kids. Guess you have to start somewhere.

I have seen Colton play quite a few times this year. He has a very good motor and really understands the game. He has seen quite a bit of varsity action this year. He is definately going to be one of the kids that you hear about over the next few years. The one thing that i will say is that Walton has a few of the Freshman kids that really understand the game. You have some kids that are just really good athletes and make plays and you have some kids that seem to know what play is gong to be run by the other team. Colton and a few other kids on that Froshmore team from Walton are going to be good in the next few years!

 

Colton Williams' dad was a heckuva athlete at Newport back in the late 80's. I am not sure where he went to school but I believe he was being recruited heavily for football.

I alwasy use CCHS for Campbell County and CC for Covington Catholic. Hope this helps.

Noah is one of the best kids out there. Great kid and great athlete! We are glad to have him at WV.
