Is UKfan the reason 99% of you feel the need to bask on SK. How about for once everyone on here say congrats to the KIDS at SK who work their tails off all year long to represent their school on the field in a positive light and have not lost one game. Makes me sick you all bask children because you let a grown adult get under your soft skin. Ban me suspend me whatever but shut up with the SK bashing. They work just as hard as all the teams you cheer for and in resent years are the best chance of a nky school bringing the 6A title to nky. Maybe we all should support these kids every week....

Most of the comments about 6A being weak in NKY have plenty of historical evidence to back it up. The reason we talk about the schedule of NKY schools is because there have been many an NKY big school that has had a stellar record only to lose to someone that, according to the records, they should have crushed. People keep bringing up the Butler game last season but it goes farther than that. Connor back in the 4A days had a perfect season only to lose at home in the first round the the 4 seed from Trinity's district that really lucked into the playoffs to begin with back in 2003.

 

I think SK might be good enough to make a run at a title, but they haven't and won't face the kind of competition that they would face against one of the Super District teams or Scott County until the title game. Playing even one team of that caliber would give SK an opportunity to flesh out some weaknesses and shore them up in time for the serious competition.

 

It isn't just directed at SK, it is directed at big school NKY as a whole. SK is just the current standard bearer.

No one is bashing kids so just stop.

Campbell being their lone loss seeing how they played 5 of the teams on the schedule and only lost to CC.

Would the Cooper/Cooper game be high scoring or low scoring? I guess after 10 overtimes, both Coopers would call it a day and go out to eat dinner...

It's comical to have SK fans on here complaining about posters who NEVER take shots at individual kids and YET they NEVER had the guts to get on here and take exception with their own guy who constantly has taken personal shots at kids and has killed teams on here over the years.

 

It was all just good fun until it got close to home.

Let me also say that if you can't take criticism of team performance a)don't be a CCH fan and b)stay in the political forms.

Agreed on the bolded. And the bolded is what happens while no one really calls any of their own fans out. I know I haven't and never will. I will give respectful credit to the opposition when it is warranted.

Those are rare occurences. I see irrational fans in every just about every thread every day. Two instances doesn't make it something that consistently happens.

I haven't read the whole thread, but even if SK's schedule were tougher and they took some "L's" against quality teams, I don't think many would all of a sudden be inclined to give them any more credit than the current situation

In fact, I think most would still say that some sort of other qualifier would need yet another qualifier to prove their worth (i.e. play school A or School D). It's the way of the world. Trust me. Just play who ya got, do the very best you can each week, improve weekly and ignore what everyone else says. Any speculation of another team's fans on theor own result versus the same opponents is hypothetical.
