Well, you know what my answer is as an HHS fan. I really only have a problem with two teams SK has played to date (Holy Cross and NCC). SK has NO BUSINESS playing either of those teams as a 6A school. Why doesn't SK "man up" and play a good Ohio school? Elder, X, and Mo are always looking to play a good Ky school - as a matter of fact they would rather play SK than HHS or CCH because since SK is a bigger school, the Ohio school would get more Harbin points for beating them. It would really help SK get ready for the Scott County's, St. X's and Trinity's of the world they will have to play in the playoffs.

Before the season started I would have said the only two they should not have played, to play somebody tougher, would have been Holy Cross and NCC (and that one is iffy).

 

They could have played a 6A school in Louisville (Manual, PRP, St X) or Lexington (Dunbar, Lafayette, or Bryan Station) that was pretty decent to beef it up. Or a big Cincy school or two (Colerain, Lakotas). I don't think Collins, Conner and Cooper were bad scheduling at all. Now I don't know what other schools records would because a lot of teams seem really inconsistent.

As of now, no wins. I went to Dayton and played there. Can't believe it's going on 19 years since I graduated.

Is it SK's fault the teams they play are having bad seasons? So what will everybody say after SK beats Dixie? More lame excuses? SK is for real. Ryle game was Ryle's homecoming they where jacked. I was told that SK players thought they would have a easy one. They still managed to get the win. SK tonight had to face a down pour that helped Boone a lot. SK only passed 9 times they usually pass 20 times. When it is all said and done SK finds a way to win! Before the season started everybody said SK would have a down year and be an average team. Guess what SK is 8-0! Next Friday around 9 pm SK will be 9-0!!!

Simon Kenton takes a lot of heat for succeeding in NKY football. If I'm a true fan of the Pioneers, I don't let what anyone says bother me about this team, that team, the other team, etc.
