Stoops said that during the game an official came over to him and told him to not let that dance happen again. I may be missing something but I didnt think there was a rule in place against it?

Stoops says he sees it all the time with other schools so he said he's going to get clarification before it happens again.

Anyone think it's against the rules? For that matter anyone else seen other schools do it as well?

I saw S Carolina doing it.

It happens all the time.. What was the officials name?

Let them dance! NCAA is a joke!

Hopefully UK gets the go ahead to continue it. I'm not a big UK football fan, although I'm a fan of SEC football. I have seen at least one UK say that he does not want them to do it as it's "Bush league", I disagree' UK football has been down for a very long time! Whatever gets them pumped up, it was fun to watch, and I didn't see it until yesterday, I can just imagine how not only the players, but also the fans on the stadium felt, you could just feel the energy.

What is the kickoff dance?

Get your dance on fellas...:jump:

Mississippi St had the greatest kickoff team dance ever about 10 years ago. Awesome!

What is the kickoff dance?

Video going around shows the UK special teams getting hyped up before the kickoff by dancing a little.

That kickoff dance thing got me pumped up. NCAA does not like fun.

Fast forward to the 1:00 mark. Not a great video but you get the idea. Kickoff team used to do it at the same time the UK dance goes on.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6Z9GUQQLEQ

Did it work? Did they squash the return?

Officials = fun suckers

Oh, so it's not like an organized thing? Most teams do that, especially after a big score...

I remember when Georgia, during the Knowshon days, had a blackout (just like the UK/SC game) and danced to Soulja Boy after a score and danced through to the kickoff. YouTube it. It's when I fell in love with college football.
