Okay, are we avoiding the elephant in the room? Or, literally, the elephant not in the room? Who doesn't think NCC is one of the 10 best 2A schools in the state? If NCC were scheduled to play any of the teams from 5-10 on the list, who do you think would be favored? I know they were 0-4 prior to district play, but are we making a poll on records or who you think the best teams are?

 

Jumper Dad says "only 2 teams from the east and he doubts either one will be in Bowling Green". Why's that?

 

Well Middlesboro or Prestonsburg will be eliminated in the Regional Round as they both can't advance. Then the Winner will have to play NCC, albeit at home...but until I see someone beat them NCC is my pick from the east.

I would put Bardstown at a #8 and see how Danville does against Campbellsville this week. I also agree that NCC needs to be in there somewhere.

Danville will throttle Campbellsville. Green County handled C-ville and Danville smashed Green. I predict the Danville win over C-ville will be much more convincing than the Bardstown win over them.

I watched NewCath on hudl. It is the first time that I've watched anything on film. They are fixable mistakes away from being really good. DTs are crossing the face of guards and ends doing the same to OTs. That's fixable and will keep drives alive b/c this QB has a strong arm. Weak fumbles will be fixed. They are not as bad as people have been preaching. They are uncharacterisically weak fundamentally. The good new is, those are fixable. They just have to be fixed now.

We will have a chance to figure that our this weekend.

Lloyd was supposed to be pretty solid as well and we saw what happened there. I watched the Newport/Williamsburg game two weeks ago and Newport looked bad against a much smaller team, although Williamsburg had better speed. Newport has a few very nice players, but I don't see them coming within 3 scores of the Breds.

IMO ... You are pretty much on target with all this LB.
