Keep trolling. UK has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion' date=' and you bringing them up makes your agenda obvious, as if it wasn't already.[/quote']

Ok so if Teddy isn't the excuse haters can make does that mean you all are just a very average ball club? Enlighten us please? Or stay in denial and just call everyone trolls.

And for my UK comment you all laugh at me a year ago, not so much today as my comment makes sense, just pointing out that out.

There have been several comments about the O-line. Teddy could have helped, no doubt. But, yes, offensively we are (hopefully) average.

Where did anyone say that Louisville was anything more than an average ball club this year? Like you said, enlighten us please....

If you want to debate whatever predictions you have about UK start another thread... UK is about where most people predicted they would be at this point in their season.

And I don't call everyone that, just you. Because you fit the bill.

Ouch I feel for you...UL people are more chapped than people even think. Bobby is still a great offensive coach, hang in there, someday you will realize young buck that it's a game you have no control over.

What are you talking about? Have you been drinking?

You are aware that UK has struggled in games this season right? Be careful, before you claim them any good whatsoever. While they have improved, they are one of the thinnest teams in the nation, and that will show over the course of an SEC schedule.....

Why are you acting in such a brash and obnoxious manner? You like the keyboard?

I've been thinking about this for a while and I might as well pose the question here. First of all, I haven't heard any UL fans expressing bad feelings about Strong or Texas. The fans I know do not begrudge Strong for taking the Texas job and are appreciative for what he did at Louisville especially post-Kragthorpe. But my question is, If Charlie was doing such a good job at UL, how is it that he let the OL get in the shape (everyone says) it is now? Shouldn't he have established more continuity there?

^ sure he should have......but OLine is a fluid position, and things change from year to year....injuries, chemistry, graduation, etc.....Who knows.

I root for Texas...the coach here is every bit as good as Charlie, and more accomplished.

I agree; a lot of people have forgotten this for some reason.

Wait until all of Charlie's guys graduate, as I said a year ago UK will pass UL soon and you all laughed. Harsh reality in present day.

Several questions go against this post. I think everyone knew things would change with Bridgewater leaving for the NFL and the coaching changes. If Petrino is around long enough, they will be fine as they were before; more focus will be on offense. I don't see any absolute guarantees that Stoops will be at UK for a long time either. A lot of uncertainty to your statement.

Not at all. I've been saying for 6 months the post Teddy, post Charlie era would not be smooth. I was called a "troll hater" for posting that.

Giving my opinion on why UL has looked a little flat that's all. Bobby is a great offensive coach and will iron things out, I just feel Charlie was elite one of the top 5-10 there is, some UL people felt it was a lateral change or even an upgrade. It will prob take till later in the year if not next year for UL to really be up and running his way and then we'll have to see kinda recruits come in (hence post Charlie).

It wasn't smooth for OSU either when Tressel left.

I watched only a portion of the game at a restaurant during dinner. Seemed UofL stabilized things in the 2nd half when they went 2 or 3 TE sets and just ran it. Drives stalled and they settled for FGs, but they controlled the clock and let the defense rest to shut down WF. Not sure how that squares with the turrrible OL play everyone seems to agree on. Maybe we are talking pass blocking primarily?

Parker will help. Petrino's offensive credentials provide hope. Defense never takes the day off. All those cliches seem appropriate.

As of know Wake Forest is the worst rushing team in all of the FBS division. They average less than 30 yards a game and have had negative rushing totals in 3 of their 5 games. That's not going to produce many W's.
