No, I've seen it happen so many times over the years, it's a Rivalry game, throw the records out, it's all about who wants it more

I like the way St. X schedules, with the exception of Fairdale. I like the 2-3 out of state teams they play, and hope that X continues to play/schedule BG and Highlands of the state.

A St X win would be a shock to me. I am guessing 26,500 will show up. I do not think the majority of the St X faithful will attend. In my opinion that is a sign of things to come. When the Xaverian players look up into the stands, they too will realize they are in for a long night.

So many times I went to the game thinking T would kill X & X won & vice versa, it's gonna be fun as it always is, can't wait! Go Rocks!

BG would have split the last 4 against the Rocks with a blowout by T in 2011 and a blowout by BG in 2013. McCallie this year and Blackman last year are decidedly better than Trinity is/was. The only thing BG gained from not playing T during the last four years was a meaningless 2nd place winning streak.

 

I've heard the St X student section on several occaisions, so no it isn't the bolded part. I heard the St X adult fans when James Quick was taken off on a strecher, so no. Let's face it. In recent years a JCPS team beating Trinity just wasn't going to happen. Beating X wasn't likely, but there was a chance. It isn't an accident that after last year the thinking of at least a couple of JCPS teams has changed. I know that the X people like to mention X football and Trinity football in the same breath, For nearly 50 years, that just isn't true.

I don't think I would be shocked if St. X won; as a grad and fan I think X can win any game they play.

 

I will say in 2010 and 2011 I would have been shocked if X would have won, but with a better defense this year I like their chances. T has a very good defense as well, so I'm not for sure how well X will be able to run the ball, but they must stay committed to it. With that being said, Houk must make plays in the passing game to keep the offense on the field and not put X's defense in bad positions.

As a T fan one thing that worries me is our propensity to give up the big play. A couple of those, along with X's defense, and it could be a tough night.

Friday is one of those 2 I believe. Low scoring, unless X gets some big pass plays. I think the X d will be stellar all night.

I would love to pick my Tigers to win the game but they have shown zero offense in big games against BG and Moeller. T has a better offense a good RB and a good enough defense to win make it T-21 St.X- 10

Rocks will win this one if two things happen. First, the Rocks will have to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Both lines will need to impose their will on St.X's lines. Second, I think the Rocks need to get out to a quick lead, thus forcing X to throw the ball to catch up. It has seemed over the years that when T gets out to an early lead, its held up.
