If you run a play from shotgun on 4th and Inches you deserve to lose.

I believe that Jameis set an NCAA record tonight. He's got to be the first player to sit out an NCAA game due to suspension in two different sports in the same year.

Really? If he's not playing who cares where he is at? It's not like they snuck him into the game for a play. I mean I hate Jameis but I think the right thing was for him to be on the sideline and soak it all in as a non participant. They should trot him out there so he can take his medicine. Tucking him away in the locker room during the game serves what purpose?

 

Since when are suspended players in college not allowed on the sidelines? And I'm talking about suspended players by the school and not the NCAA. Two different sets of rules.

Biggest problem that I saw with Maguire was that he didn't know when to get rid of the ball or just accept the sack. I felt like he got lucky that he didn't fumble the ball a few of those times when he had the ball in one had away from his body trying to fight of the sack attempt.

Don't forget that he had his mind made up who he was going to throw it to when he came out of the huddle. He locked in on the receiver on every pass he made.

Notre Dame looked pretty bad last week against Purdue. I think the Noles will be fine as long as Winston doesn't do anything else stupid to cause him to miss the game.

I'd say most schools would allow the suspended player on the sideline. The camera spent way too much time on him IMO. We may not have cameras focusing on suspended players when other teams are playing like they focused on Jameis tonight.

Yep non issue for me...IMO he was where he should have been, supporting his teammates.

Hated how after the game the cameras followed Jameis around like he was the one who played. It just furthers his belief that he is above the game. He is ticking bomb and will blow up in the NFL IMO.

Even watching SportsCenter they showed Winston's reaction to every play. How about focusing on the guys who actually played?
