What would you change?

Not real sure about Franklin Co. at #4. Their strength of schedule has been, shall we say, less than difficult. I would put them at #7 and move 5-7 up one each.

I would put about 5 line spaces between #1 and #2

I wouldn't.

Pulaski County wasn't 5 spaces different than BG last year in the Finals and they have clearly closed the gap in my opinion thanks to the effect graduation had collectively on each team.

I haven't seen Bullitt East, but one guy I trust has seen Anderson, Bullitt East and South Oldham and he said South Oldham is better than Bullitt East.

I wouldn't.

Not that last year has any relevance on this year, but you are wrong when saying Pulaski County wasn't 5 spaces different from BG last year.

I disagree.

Bowling Green was clearly the better team but Pulaski had success and had that game tied 14-14 at the Half.

The wheels fell off in the 2nd Half but Bowling Green had to kick it in gear to win the game.

Pulaski returns their entire team and have improved. Bowling Green lost nearly every one of their top play makers and have regressed (but still good enough to be undoubtedly the best team in 5A).

BG's defense this year is scary good. Not many teams can shut out X.

And pretty sure they found their next Fant (Carrothers). Even Fant never had a game like Carrothers did last week. And it's not like Owensboro is some scrub.

BG is used to winning, has a great coach, great depth and is battled tested (more than you can say for Pulaski at this point). It's BG far and away until proven otherwise. Even if McCallie ends "The Streak", BG is still the best team in 5-A.

This week's game will tell a lot about these teams. We shall see...

I would leave Franklin at 4 if South is 6 and Anderson is 7. Neither one of those play any defense. I don't know anything about Bullitt East, they may be 30 points better than Franklin or 30 points worse. However, I think Franklin is better than both Anderson and South this year.

I wouldn't.

This year, no way Pulaski is 5 spaces behind BG, heck, they may be better than BG...but last year? Last year they were WAY behind BG. Pulaski scored the first 14 and then was outscored 49-0 for the rest of the game. Credit Pulaski for coming to play and having no fear of punching the Purples in the mouth, but the two teams were no where close to one another.

Now this year, that may be a different story...

I know one thing. NKY 5A will be SUPER competitive if these are accurate rankings. 3 of the 5 teams in the top 10. Going to be some battles over the next 4-5 weeks of district play

Franklin Co. at #4? Let's look at their schedule so far. They beat Western Hills, beat a winless Oldham Co. and struggle against 1A Frankfort. Nothing against Frankfort, they are a very good team, but a 5A team should not struggle against them.

Warren Central, South Oldham, Bullitt East and Anderson Co. have played tougher schedules.

Can't argue them not being ranked ahead of Anderson Co. as Anderson has a 1-2 record.

Franklin Co. will have their opportunity to prove they are better than Anderson Co.

Just MHO.

Bullitt East is down this year. People don't really know that because they played a close game with Boyle and have a terribly weak schedule. Boyle drop two touchdown passes in the 14-6 loss to Boyle game, if that would help change minds a little. Plus I heard they may be starting a frosh at center this week against Central Hardin because of "practice injuries."
