September 11, 201412 yr AT&T, we too date back to the Cingular days. Still have the same plan that they used to offer with unlimited data on our phones. Mrs C went to modify our plan once. The guy told her not to, because the unlimited plan that we have isn't available anymore, but anyone who had it got to keep it. Have always been pleased with their service and quality. My son got his own plan a few months ago. He went with the Walmart $38.99 unlimited everything plan. He is very pleased. He lives in a city so he always has service, don't know how it would work in rural areas. -You either have to already have a phone or you have to purchase a phone. No contract.

I'm rocking that plan, another reason I probably won't leave them.
September 11, 201412 yr Author For those of you with Sprint...How is your internet browsing, twitter, etc when you're not on wifi?
September 11, 201412 yr For those of you with Sprint...How is your internet browsing, twitter, etc when you're not on wifi? These days the signals are not too bad. After the "LTE" rollout, it has gotten much better. I live in Ft Thomas and work up in the Kenwood area. The 71 corridor has great coverage. While I am certainly not a Sprint fanboy (sufffered for quite a while) it has gotten much better over the years. I just have not been able to bring myself to pay 50-80 dollars more a month for 4 phones with unlimited everything.
September 11, 201412 yr Have had AT&T for ever and now that I work for them I probably should keep them. Lol. Never had any problems with them either way though.
September 11, 201412 yr I have AT&T and it's ok but I hate how high my bill is. Have you checked on getting it lowered?
September 11, 201412 yr Author I have AT&T and it's ok but I hate how high my bill is. Exactly the reason I'm switching from Verizon. Can save over $1000 dollars a year by switching to Sprint/T-Mobile.
September 11, 201412 yr Which cell phone provider do you use? And do you like them? I'm currently on Verizon and am going to switch to either T-Mobile or Sprint this Friday. I cannot decide who I'm going with. We use Verizon at work and we switched to Verizon from Sprint. Never was happy with Sprint and definitely don't switch to ATT, their coverage is horrible. Been very happy with Verizon's coverage and after all, after price that is all that really matters isn't it?
September 11, 201412 yr Author I think I am going to try out T-Mobile. They seem to be ahead of the game on this VoWIFI thing and look like they might get better coverage where I live.
September 11, 201412 yr Has anybody figured out how to get out of your 'existing customer' deal with Verizon to get the new deal they are offering for $160/month and four lines with 10G? I'd like to save that $80/mo. Verizon edge plan. AT&T offers a similar plan which I believe is called next. Basically paying the phone off full retail but also getting a discount on your bill.
September 11, 201412 yr I like the opposite of SvFan work for Verizon. I used to be with Sprint til I was hired on by Verizon. Seeing as how I am my own customer service rep I have never had an issue there. Only time I have ever not have service has been in the Smokey Mountain's in Gatlinburg.
September 12, 201412 yr Been with AT&T for years. The only issues I have with coverage is in central IL but it's getting better.
September 12, 201412 yr I have AT&T and it's ok but I hate how high my bill is. I have the same issue with AT&T as well. I pay $180 per month for 2 phones. A friend of mine says he has the same coverage with AT&T as me and gets his for $147 per month. Mine is through the Jackson office and his is Winchester. I'm going to talk to the Jackson people and if they don't reduce my payments I think I'll switch to Winchester, or check into switching over to Verizon.
