ESPN messed up, they have acknowledged it, do you really need to jump on here feigning offense?

From what I read, ref wants to know how that works.

I could be wrong, though. Wouldn't be the first time.

ESPN should be ashamed.

Yep.

I always wonder how often "begging forgiveness" rather than "asking permission" happens for the sake of ratings.

All the time is my best guess.

I would say you are dead on!

I hope the kid makes it but ESPN and the media needs to chill.

I think that's a bit unfair, regardless of refs motive.

Listening to Fischer this morning it doesn't sound promising, Rams are just crazy deep at DE. He was clear to point out that Sam was NOT a LB, and playing well on Special Teams isn't part of the consideration.

As a life long Ram's fan I don't care either way, if he can play great! If he doesn't beat out the guys ahead of him so be it.

Too bad he's not the first openly gay QB in the NFL!

I think that's a bit unfair, regardless of refs motive.

Sorry, when you constantly look for things "in the liberal media" to get offended about, it becomes a little tiresome. ESPN was 100% in the wrong, handled it poorly, and acknowledged it today.

Agreed, but espn did itself no favors by making a giant spectacle from draft day on. Any time that outfit can be put in its place I rejoice.

I concur on all points -- however, to come in griping after they've already admitted they were morons and fallen on the sword strikes me as a bit superfluous.

Indeed.

I don't know what this means, so I'm going to take it as disrespect...

So we shouldn't be allowed to talk about it? What's your point?
